Are you living your passion?
Do you have a hobby? Most people do. I have several;drumming,bodybuilding and computers just to name a few. Internet Marketing is my passion as well, but treated as a business.
I’m passionate about all of them and the ability to flex between them equally can sometimes be challenging. So what do I do?
Time Management
Your ability to juggle work,family and other interests is going to reveal itself as a direct response of your ability to manage your time. It’s been said before but I’ll say it again; “There are only so many hours in a day” True. And, you can accomplish exactly what you want to…when… you manage your time. Avoid saying “I don’t have the time”
Make a list
How many of us actually do this? I USE to pooh-pooh the idea myself until I actually started doing it. Yes, make a list of exactly what you want to accomplish today, tomorrow and by March 2011.
We all have our “routine” of course and we outline, roughly, in our mind the additional things we “need” to do on any given day. But how often do we fall short?
How many times do you hear someone say, “Yea, I need to start working out”, or “I need to do this or that”? Oftentimes we fail to accomplish what we want to do or, know we need to do, not because of time restraints, rather, it’s because of time management or focus restraints.
But you notice when you must do something it usually gets done. Change your “need” to “must”.
Goals
What we end up with are goals of course; this is the down and dirty of it really. The achievement of any goal, no matter how small, keeps us moving forward and growing in life.
And isn’t that really what it’s all about? Having and living a more abundant life? Enriching our lives and then paying it forward in some way.
So get hooked, get passionate with as many hobbies as you want. You can do anything you want, just manage everything properly and you can effectively balance all those things you enjoy in life.
